Bri Keller - 1:00 PM
Bri Keller is a musical theatre singer-songwriter from Wilmington, DE. She is a choral/general music education major and theatre studies minor at the University of Delaware. Bri has performed in numerous operatic and musical theatre productions with the UD Opera Theatre, toured internationally with the UD Chorale and Delaware Choral Scholars, and recently presented her capstone performance recital in classical voice. She loves all things choir and musical theatre, and has recently taken up the art of songwriting. When not singing or geeking out about choir and musical theatre, Bri enjoys working at Build-A-Bear Workshop and playing with her cat, Tikki.
Will Schwantes - 1:30 PM
Will Schwantes is an indie singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Winchester, VA. He was accompanied by Nick Ramdass and Julian DiNapoli (of The MCs) for part of his set at SGCS Vol. III. Will has been making music since he was three years old and has been writing music since he was in the seventh grade. In his solo venture, Will strives to experiment with all genres of music and express raw emotion through a unique medium. So far, he has released two original songs on all major music streaming platforms - "I Think I Like You" and "I Can't Stand To Be Alone" - and has a third on the way. He is also part of the band "The MCs" with some of his closest friends, only furthering his/their passion for music.
Kadan Jones - 2:30 PM
Kadan Jones is an indie/alternative singer-songwriter and ukulele player from Winchester, VA. She plays whatever she most enjoys listening to at any given time, which at the time of SGCS Vol. III included bands like The Happy Fits and The Crane Wives. She grew up singing and has been in her school’s choir since the third grade, and for the past two years she has been teaching herself the ukulele. She has also been writing lyrics since middle school but has only recently felt confident enough to try setting them to music. In addition to all of this, Kadan recently began writing a musical.
Lauren Alexandria - 3:00 PM
Lauren Alexandria is an alternative singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Winchester, VA. Lauren started singing when she was only five years old, and she has wanted to pursue music ever since. She was involved in musical theatre for seven years; has been in two bands; has learned to play piano, guitar, and ukulele; and has been writing songs since she was ten years old. She is completely self-taught and is always eager to learn more. She frequently posts original music and covers on her Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook pages, all of which can be accessed here. Lauren also sold merchandise at SGCS Vol. III.
The MCs - 3:30 PM
The MCs are a "multiple choice" band from Winchester, VA comprised of Will Schwantes, Nick Ramdass, and Julian DiNapoli. They were accompanied by their friends Kyle Flood and Grace Rosier for part of their set at SGCS Vol. III. In their own words, The MCs are "a group of high school students just trying to make it in the world of smooth rhythms, fingerbanging bass lines, and walls of sound that are impossible to climb." The group consists of a "groovy guitar," an "energetic drumline," a "piano that is never out of tune," a "voice of angels," and "mysterious brass." Whenever there is danger, have no fear; The MCs are always there to lift your spirits and to have a good time.

R-Deco - 5:30 PM
R-Deco is the solo experimental songwriting project of Kevin Romano, an art music singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Winchester, VA. Kevin was accompanied by a few other musicians for part of his set at SGCS Vol. III. R-Deco seeks to blend music's captivating nature with a diverse array of sounds, making extensive use of obscure/modified musical instruments and audio equipment. In 2022, Kevin released an album, "DecoPiano," on SoundCloud as part of the R-Deco project featuring non-mixed, non-mastered songs for piano, voice, and pre-recorded backing track. They serve as the "acoustic" versions of songs that will later be transcribed for more experimental instrumentation. Kevin is also part of the jazz/funk band "RTG."
Penelope Loy - 6:30 PM
Penelope Loy is an indie pop singer-songwriter and guitarist from Winchester, VA. Her set included a wide variety of covers and originals ranging from songs for the madly in love to songs for those who just had their hearts broken. One of her original songs, "burn it out," delves into some incredibly deep emotions for her. Penelope has been working on a few major projects in 2022 that should come to fruition by the end of 2023, including plans to release some original music online. EYRE - 7:00 PM
EYRE is the indie pop/rock project of Elliot Eyre; a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer from Winchester, VA. EYRE is based in Grove City, PA. The lineup of musicians at SGCS Vol. III was Elliot Eyre, Rexton Schulman, and Bennett Cupps. They played both covers and original songs on their set, most of the originals coming from Elliot's current songwriting project, "A Brief Foray into the Mind of a Musician." The project will include the release of four EPs and a full-length album, each showcasing a different genre/style of music. The first two EPs are available on all major music streaming platforms. EYRE also sold merchandise at the concert.
RTG - 8:00 PM
RTG is a jazz/funk ("junk") band from Winchester, VA comprised of Daniel Brannon, Ben Viner, Kevin Romano, John Skiles, Haden Walker, Teagan Hershberger, and Wolfgang Doerwaldt. They have been gigging throughout the Northern Virginia area since 2019 and have been covering and composing fun, funky music the entire time. Their set at SGCS Vol. III included both covers and original songs from their upcoming debut album, "Sic Semper Funk." Three tracks from the album - "Waffle Party," "R.T.G.I.F.," and "Arbiters of Funk" - have been pre-released and are available on all major music streaming platforms.
